If this Law Library is billed for the overdue, lost or damaged ILL book, the charges will be passed on to the Law Library patron. Students are charged through Student Accounts. Once a student account is charged for a misplaced, unreturned or lost ILL, no credits or refunds will be provided even if should the item is found and returned later as lending libraries do not cancel invoices.
ILL-participating libraries lend and share their materials to us based on trust and without requiring collateral. ILL libraries simply expect that their materials will be returned on time and in the same condition that they were loaned. Georgetown Law Library patrons can maintain the Law Library's reputation and privileges with these generous lenders by respecting due dates and handling the lender's property with care.
