What Happens If I Lose or Damage an ILL Book?

If this Law Library is billed for your overdue, lost or damaged ILL book, the charges will be passed on to you. Your student account will be billed the amount on the invoice. Once your student account is charged for a misplaced or lost ILL, no credits or refunds will be provided even if should you find the item later as lending libraries do not cancel invoices.

Libraries lend and share their materials to us based on trust. They simply expect that their materials will be returned on time and in the same condition that it was loaned. Please help us maintain the Law Library's borrowing reputation and privileges with these generous libraries by respecting their due dates and handling the lender's property with care.
