Answers to the most commonly asked questions about ILL.

Notice

The library has undergone a website re-design and is currently undergoing a library system migration therefore hyperlinks on this research guide may be outdated. The guide will be updated, after the library system migration, sometime in the fall. Please contact the ILL Office should you have any questions.

What Happens If I Lose or Damage an ILL Book?

If the Law Library is billed for an overdue, lost or damaged book, the charges will be passed on to you. Student accounts will be billed the amount on the invoice. Once a student account is charged for a misplaced or lost ILL, no credits or refunds will be provided even if should you find the item later.

Libraries lend their materials to us based on trust. They simply expect that their materials will be returned on time and in the same condition that it was loaned. Please help us maintain the Law Library's borrowing reputation and privileges with these generous libraries by respecting the due dates and handling the lenders' property with care.
