Statistics and Empirical Legal Studies Research Guide

Resources on Empirical Research Methodology

Because empirical legal studies requires the use of specialized analytical techniques, researchers in this area need to have an understanding of the various methodologies used by empirical scholars. These methodologies include techniques of research design, data collection, and data analysis. The library has access to a number of works that discuss research methodologies, including articles, books on empirical methodology in law, and books on empirical methodology in other disciplines. We also have access to the database Sage ResearchMethods.
