The following table covers the 1947 General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT 1947) and the multilateral trade agreements concluded during the Uruguay Round of negotiations. These include the 1994 Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization (the Marrakesh Agreement) and the multilateral agreements annexed to the Marrakesh Agreement (the Covered Agreements). For each agreement, at least one Bluebook-compliant treaty citation is provided, along with a link from which you may download a PDF copy of the text of the agreement from the WTO's website.
For GATT 1947, citations are provided to official U.S. treaty sources and to the U.N. Treaty Series (U.N.T.S.). There are no citations to official U.S. treaty sources for the Uruguay Round agreements because the United States enacted legislation to implement the agreements and did not ratify them as treaties. For those agreements, citations are provided to the U.N. Treaty Series and to International Legal Materials (I.L.M.), if the agreement in question was published therein.
