Gender and the Law Research Guide

This guide covers gender and the law, legal feminism and feminist jurisprudence.

Using Secondary Sources in Legal Research

Secondary sources can sometimes be the key that opens up a trove of primary source materials.  In legal research, encyclopedias, restatements, treatises, and law review articles provide analysis and overviews that can be essential in doing effective and efficient research.

In addition, secondary sources can assist in the identification of other research materials, including primary materials such as case law and legislation.

The menu on the left will take you to specific secondary resources in the area of gender and the law.  Additional secondary sources are provided in other categories, including the section on case law, treatises and declarations, and statistics.
