Health Journal Databases

Researchers and practitioners in the the health science field rely on journal articles as a primary communication medium because they can be published much more quickly than books. Textbooks are relied on secondarily, to provide a standard overview of a particular medical practice area. To identify standard medical textbooks, see "Medical Books and Literature" in the Attorneys' Medical Deskbook or contact a librarian at the Health Sciences Library (Dahlgren Medical Library).
