For guidance on formatting U.S. citations to South African legal materials, consult The Bluebook, KF245 .U5 2020. 

  • Rule 20 provides general guidelines for citing foreign legal materials.
     
  • Table 2.36 provides specific examples for citing different types of South African legal materials, including the federal constitution, statutes, legislative materials, and court decisions, as well as provincial legal materials.
