Secondary Sources are helpful resources that provide background information and often an overview of a particular area of law. Secondary Sources analyze and or explain the law of a particular topic, but do not have the force of law. These scholarly and journalistic materials can help you to familiarize yourself with issues and to learn what words are commonly used to describe concepts within the area you are studying. Additionally, they lead to more specific information later and primary sources. The subpages list treatises, news sources, journals, databases, and other resources that provide background and overview in nonprofit related topics.
