Akron Law Center for Constitutional LawEstablished by the U.S. Congress in 1986, 20 U.S.C. § 4516, "[t]he primary purpose of the Center is to promote scholarship concerning the United States Constitution, to commemorate the creation of that document, and to help illuminate its application to modern times." The Center has a moot court program for lawyers arguing before the Ohio Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit, or the U.S. Supreme Court, and it holds symposia on constitutional law.
