Journal articles can be a good way to obtain background information about arms control topics and may help you locate citations to or the texts of foreign laws. Lexis and Westlaw provide excellent coverage of U.S. law reviews, but you will need to use additional tools for comprehensive coverage of articles published outside the U.S. For information on other journal databases, see our guide to Articles for Legal and Non-Legal Research.
If you already have a citation and would like to read the article, simply type the journal name as a title search in the library catalog. Note that not all journals available at Georgetown are available electronically, so be prepared to consult print journals if necessary. Be sure to check coverage dates or volume numbers to determine if your particular volume or issue is available. If Georgetown does not have the journal article, you may request it via interlibrary loan and we will ask another library to supply it as a PDF.
