U.S. customs law is the body of law regulating the importation and exportation of merchandise. It includes the law of duties, entry procedures, country of origin marking, compliance with health and safety laws, and quotas.

This guide focuses on U.S. customs law.  The library has an international Customs Law Research Guide for researchers interested in foreign and international customs law, or in researching or learning about customs law generally.
