Log into your My Library Account with your GULC NetID and Password. You may be asked to verify via DUO Authentication.
You will find My Library Account linked on our homepage (top right hand corner) and at the bottom of notices emailed by the library catalog system.
Your account defaults to Georgetown Law Library. In the Loans box, look for and click on Renew All.
If you click on Loans in the box, or on the tab above it, you will see a list of Law Library books checked out to your account. From the list, you may select a particular title to renew.
You may not be permitted by the system to renew items that are grossly overdue or have been recalled. Please contact the Circulation Desk with any questions (lawcirc@georgetown.edu, 202-662-9131).
A list of WRLC members appear on the left hand menu in your My Library Account.
To renew a loan borrowed from a WRLC member, click to select the institution that loaned the book. In the Loans box, click on Renew All.
To determine which institution loaned you a particular book that you are trying to renew,
For each institution, if you click on the tabs, such as Loans or Fines+Fees, you can view details of the CLS items checked out under your name or any accumulated fines.
You may not be permitted by the system to renew items that are grossly overdue, have been recalled or have fines. Please return such items and contact Library Research Services (lawlibraryresearch@georgetown.edu) or Interlibrary Loan (law-ill@georgetown.edu) to borrow copies from different libraries. Questions about fines and fees in your library account can be addressed by the Circulation Desk (lawcirc@georgetown.edu).
The majority of faculty ILL requests are processed through ILLiad accounts that have been created on the professor's behalf and you would not have access to the proxy account. Therefore, you may ask Interlibrary Loan to submit a renewal request to the lender on your behalf. Either reply to the emailed reminder notice, issued prior to the due date, or send a message to ILL (law-ill@georgetown.edu).
