Librarian Andy Lang will cover case law research during class on September 19th. Please view the case law video lectures before attending this class. The case law lectures describe a number of techniques and strategies for locating relevant case law including using secondary sources, statutory annotations, headnotes, keyword searching, and citators. Please also watch the video lecture on Treatises, which will introduce this valuable category of secondary source.

The optional Case Law Tutorial provides additional background information about court structure, mandatory versus persuasive authority, the case reporter system, and case citations.
